Michelle's Testimony Monday, October 26, 2009  Hi friends! I'm Michelle and I'd like to share with you a story of how I met a special person who changed my life. And this is how it goes... One day, a classmate of mine invited me to a session of board games at the Mind Cafe with her group of church friends. Being an introvert, I was nervous and shy to meet them. However, they were really sincere and nice people. It was then that I started going with them to church. I came from a Catholic background but didn't know much about God and the bible. It was then I decided to plant myself in City Harvest Church.Before I came to church, I used to be someone with a low self-esteem. Zero confidence and full of fear. There were a few occasions where I wanted to go out but changed my mind because I was afraid of how others would look at me or say about me. When I came to church, I got to know this special person called Jesus. I got to know Him and His word (the bible) more. Slowly as I knew Jesus, I got to know who I am in God what God says about me. God took me, this unpolished jewel and polished me into who I am today - a jewel shining for Him wherever I go. |
